Dollye G. Miller, age 79, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2012.She was born in Miami, FL to the late Mildred and Alfred Green. Dollye lived most of her life in southern Florida before retiring from Broward Sheriff’s Department and moving to her beloved mountains in Blairsville, GA before moving closer to her family in Orlando, FL. Dollye was a Charter member of Spring of Life United Methodist Church as well as a devoted volunteer at Wycliffe Bible Translators.
She is survived by her daughter Melanie (Mike) Brasher; her son Martin Woodside; brother, Rollan Green; grandsons, William (Christina) Horn, Jonathan Horn, Michael (Emily and soon to be great grandson Gabriel; granddaughters, Kalani, and Leilani Woodside; nephews, Kirby (Sandra) Green; nieces, Diane (Tony) Ennamorato; and Johanna (Larry) Young.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Chastain Memorial Park.
