Mrs.Shirley Blanchard, age 53, of McCaysville, Georgia, formerly of Aikin, SC, passed away November 5, 2012 at her home. She was born January 9, 1959, in Aiken, SC to James Harris Witcher and Mary Elizabeth Green Witcher. Shirley retired from Spalding County Health Dept. She was a member of Harbor Ministry Church, and was very active in the Church. She served on Grace In Him Inc. Board as one of the directors. Shirley was one awesome little woman, who loved the Lord and was not timid about her witness. She was glad to tell them about her love for Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include: husband, Ronnie Blanchard of McCaysville, Georgia; three sisters, Wanda, Janet, and Lisa; one brother, Billy; nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services: Haisten McCullough Funeral Home in Griffin, Georgia, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Denise Caldwell officiating. Music provided by Grace In Him Trio. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
