Mr. Clifford Larry Briant, Sr., 73 of Epworth, Georgia died on Friday, November 2, 2012, at Life Care Center of Copperhill in Ducktown, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, January 25, 1939 in McCaysville, Georgia, he was the son of the late Murphy Christopher Briant and the late Retha Hill Briant.

Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Melinda Briant of Copperhill, TN; brothers, George Briant of Atlanta, GA and Milton (Fox) Briant of McCaysville, GA; sisters, Kay Cook of Mineral Bluff, GA, Greta Jones of McCaysville, GA, Virginia Bradham of Atlanta, GA and Mary Elizabeth McCullough of Atlanta, GA.

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Akins Chapel in Blue Ridge with the Rev. Kerry Plemmons officiating. Music will be by Denise Caldwell and Lawrence Bice. Interment will be in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will meet with friends after 4:00 PM Sunday and especially from 6 until 9 PM.
