Phyllis Angel : Obituary

Phyllis Christine Angel, of McCaysville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at her home.Phyllis retired from Papa Pizza. She was employed as a shift manager for many years. She was born in Ducktown, TN on December 22, 1934 to the late Parks Culberson and the late Pearl Kimsey Bryson Culberson. Phyllis is a member of the McCaysville Church of Christ.

Phyllis is survived by four children, Jerry, Jr. & wife, Bonnie Angel, Lisa Patterson, Anthony Angel and Bryan Angel, all of the area; six grandchildren, Stephen & wife, Wendy Angel, Michael & wife, Cindy Angel, Jennifer and husband, Joe Herrington, Justin Angel, Lauren & husband, Josh Patterson, and Devon & husband, Stephen Stone; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Lucas, Olivia Angel, Riley, Brody and Avrey Angel, Dela Herrington, Alessa and Delaney Patterson, and Lola Stone.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Bill Johnston officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Angel, Michael, Joe Herrington, Josh Patterson, Stephen Stone, and Justin Angel. Interment will following in the Zion Hill Baptist Church in Turtletown, TN.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or you may make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, North GA Regional Office, 922 East Morris Street, Dalton, Georgia 30721.

The Services have been entrusted to the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, McCaysville, GA. You may send condolences to the family at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
