Mr. Donald Hewell Parris, age 70, Murphy, passed away October 19, 2012.Mr. Parris was born January 28, 1942 in Atlanta , GA to Jimmie Parris and Fay Pearson Parris. He was preceded in death by his parents Jimmie and Fay Parris.

Survivors include: son, David Dean (Linda) Parris, daughter, Donna (Sean) Hamby, daughter, Deborah Parris, granddaughter, Jessica A. Curry.

Funeral services: Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with the Rev. Stacy Hanson officiating and the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Tuesday, October 23, 2012 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
