Mrs. Bonnie Broadaway, age 64 of Morganton, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at her home.She was born August 19, 1948 in Fannin County GA to the late Willie Nicholson and Essie Ware Nicholson. She was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist Church. Bonnie was retired from Levi’s, and enjoyed canning, sewing and spending time with her special grandchildren. She is preceded by her father, Willie Nicholson, sister-in-law, Joan Nicholson.

Survivors include: husband, James Broadaway, mother, Essie Ware Nicholson, brothers; Calvin (Denise) Nicholson, Bobby (Marilyn) Nicholson, Dennis Nicholson, sister, Lynda Anderson, special grandchildren; Austin Lance, Will Davis, Logan Davis, Jackson Davis, Courtney Davis and Carder Lance, niece, Christal Davis, niece, Linda Gail Lance, nephew, Kevin Nicholson, niece, Alicia Nicholson.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 11:00am in the Henry-Cochran Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tulley Griggs officiating with music provided by: Renee Watkins. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Logan Davis, Will Davis, Vincent Davis, Kevin Nicholson, Derrick Stewart & Carlton Chambers.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, October 9th from 6:00-9:00pm.
