Fannin County Middle School 8th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for September. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for September are: Emily Key (Team 8A), daughter of Chuck & Angie Key of Morganton; Alex Geisler (Team 8A), son of Richard & Rebecca Clark of McCaysville; Isabel Wanner (Team 8B), daughter of Scott & Amy Wanner of Blue Ridge; and Will Panter (Team 8B), son of Terry & Nicki Johnson of McCaysville, and Lynn Panter of Blue Ridge.
