Lt. Colonel Howard Lee Weeks, age 96, of Decatur, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at his home.Lt. Colonel.Weeks was born December 29, 1915 in Copperhill, TN to the late Lee Weeks and the late Ellen Queen Weeks. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Decatur, Georgia. Howard retired after serving in the U. S.Army.

Survivors include: wife of 72 years Rena Weeks, son; Howard (Sandra) Weeks Jr., daughter; Lynn Maile, grandchildren; Chole Weeks, Catherine Weeks, Clayton Weeks, Christina Miller, and Jeff Maile, great grandchildren; Cameron Miller, and Christian Maile.

Funeral services: Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barbara Davidson officiating. Music provided by: Lou Ann Holden and the church choir. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Military:honors will given by the GA National Guard.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
