Kiker Wins Runoff in Probate Race!

Following a hard-fought race, R. Scott Kicker has won the run-off for Fannin County Probate Judge. According to the County Elections Board, Kicker earned 29 more votes than his opponent Julie-Fitts Queen. Election Board Chair Mary Ann Conner, though, told FYN today that Fitts-Queen is expected to request a recount. Conner said that candidates have two business days to make a recount request.

As of noon today, the counts were unofficial. Conner, however, said the results will be made official today.

FYN will bring you updates as information becomes available.
