We will be providing a Fire Truck for West Fannin Elementary School’s Wet n Wild day on August 30 between 12:30 and 2:00PM with a rain date of August 31.

FCFD responded to Laurelwood Lane for the report of a structure fire. Arrived on the scene to find all occupants outside the residence. Found light smoke inside, and that a neighbor had already put the water on the fire and extinguished the fire. (Trash Can) FCFD ventilated smoke from residence. Returned to service. Med 1, Eng 1, responded. 9 Fire Fighters.

FCFD responded to Cardinal Lane for the report of a structure fire. Arrived to find (Heavy) Smoke and Flames coming from B side of residence. Engine 4 deployed two attack lines and started extinguishing the fire. All Occupants were out side the residence.
Med 4, Engine 4, Tanker 6, and 10 Fire Fighters.
State Fire Marshal Investigating cause of fire.

FCFD responded to Progress Circle. Zaxbys For the report of smoke in the building. Used TIC, Thermal Imaging Camera to search for the source. Found AC unit on top of building that was not working correctly. Did evacuate the building on arrival.
Engine 1, Rescue 1, Med 4, and 14 Fire Fighters responded.

FCFD responded to Maple Grove Rd. for the report of a structure fire. Trailer fully involved. and a person that had received burns. First unit on scene to find trailer 3/4 involved and a propane tank at the C/D corner of residence that was in danger. Med 11 and Engine 11 arrived on scene, dropped
Engine 11 at trailer and proceeded on to patient. Patient transported to FRH. And then on to Grady Hospitals burn unit in Atlanta.
Med 11, Engine 11, Engine 2, Tanker 2, Air & Light, 12 Fire Fighters.
State Fire Marshal and Sheriff Office Investigating cause of fire.
