Mr. Roger Dell Pulliam, age 65, of McCaysville, GA passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at his home.Mr. Pulliam was born on April 28, 1947 in Fannin County, GA to the late Paul Pulliam and Billie Jean Pulliam. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Thurman Pulliam of McCaysville, GA; son and daughter-in-law Douglas Scott Pulliam and Teresa Pulliam of Blue Ridge, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Katie Pulliam of Cleveland, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Randall Barnes of Blue Ridge, Teresa and Glen Locke of McCaysville, and Vicky Pulliam of Blue Ridge; and three grandchildren, Michelle, Scott, and Nickole Pulliam.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Wayne Chanelle officiating. Eulogy will be by Dustin Pulliam. Pallbearers will be Max Thurman, Daniel Thurman, Douglas Childers, Wesley Payne, Luther (Man) Patterson, and Roger Shuler. Interment will follow in Mt. View Church Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 3:00-9:00 p.m.
