Lawanda Arp Cole, age 78 of Copperhill, TN passed away August 5, 2012 at the Copper Basin Medical Center.Mrs. Cole was born April 27, 1934 in Isabella, TN to the late Claude W. and Madelyn Simonds Arp. Lawanda loved tending to her flower gardens, and she enjoyed walking and watching sports. She was a devoted mother and loved cooking big meals for her family. She was Baptist in faith and was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Claudette Cole, and husband, Ted R. Cole.
Survivors include: son; Charles Cole, daughter; Carol (Claude) Johnson, grandson; Zach Johnson, and granddaughter, Kelly Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with speaker Denise Coldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
