Mrs. Ethel G. Sparks, age 91, of Talking Rock passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Pickens County.Mrs. Sparks was born April 14, 1921 in Epworth, Ga. to the late Bruce and Margaret Tudor Green. She was a homemaker and member of the Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Struss Sparks and Daughter, Louise Sparks.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Joann (Carman) Akers, Joan (Thomas) Wade, Frances Coney and Danny Newton.

Funeral services Monday, August 6, 2012 at 3:00PM from the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Wade officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Hill #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday and Sunday evening from 6 to 9 PM

Pallbearers will be: Chris Wade, Mark Wade and Thomas Wade
