Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces the death of Mr. Hugh C. Hoodenpyle, age 88, of Hiawassee, who passed away Wednesday evening, August 1, 2012, in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 until 2.
