A Heartfelt “Thank You” To My Readers

Religion

The time has come for me to take a break from writing each week. I have enjoyed so much my eighteen months of sharing my thoughts with you here on FetchYourNews. My hope is that over this course of time somehow I have blessed you, made you think, laugh, and infused some valuable insight. In any case, thank you for reading my articles.

I was truly honored when, in the beginning days of FetchYourNews, Brian Pritchard asked me to become the first Religion Editor. It was an adventure for all of us. The hard work on the part of so many has certainly born fruit. Readership of Fetch has continued to grow month after month. It is a very valuable asset to the North Georgia community.

Ben Mock, pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jasper is going to take my spot on the weekly roster. I am truly delighted that he will follow me and write for you each week. He has an incredible background in missionary work and church leadership. He is a personal friend and possesses great Bible knowledge and communications skills. I’ve already read his first article and it is powerful. I encourage you to follow his writings in the future.

This is really more of a “see you later” than a good bye. I plan to continue to write more for Fetch in the future as time allows and hopefully delve into some Op Ed writing too. As one very famous person once said (threatened), “I’ll be back.” You will have to decide whether I am a treat or a treatment. LOL.

Til we meet again, I pass on this beautiful Irish blessing:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
