Carl Max Stewart : Obituary

Carl Max Stewart, age 76, of Grandview, MO, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Research Medical center in Grandview, MO.

Mr. Stewart was born October 4, 1935 in Hamilton, MO to the late Carl and Hazel Stewart. He was a member of Lee’s Summit Baptist Temple. He was Vice President of Cartwright Van Lines retiring in the 1980’s. After retirement he became a volunteer driver for Foxwood Springs in Raymore, MO. Max loved flying and enjoyed car racing. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter, Cynthia Parks.

He is survived by his wife of thirty three years, Peggy Stewart of the home; children, Brian Stewart of Orlando, FL, Sabrina Stewart of Kansas City, MO.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 7th at 2:00 p.m. from the McGilley & George Funeral Home in Grandview, MO. Local graveside services will follow Thursday, May 10th at 3:00 p.m. from the Chastain Memorial Park.
