Five from Fannin in State Track Meet

The Fannin County High School track and field Rebels will send five participates to the State Track Meet, four girls and one boy. Only those competitors, who placed in the top eight at the Sectionals meets, are allowed to continue on to the State meet.Karly Thompson placed third in the Girls’ Discus Throw. Mallory Arp placed third, and Cheyenne Golden placed seventh, in the Girls’ 800 Meter Run. Madison Franklin placed sixth in the Girls’ 400 Meter Dash. Will Patterson, the lone male Rebel attending the State Meet, placed second in the Boys’ 110 Meter Hurdles.
