Cornerstone Baptist Church will have its first worship service Easter Morning!!! A resurrected church will celebrate Resurrection Day in its new building on April 8th 2012. Many may remember the devastating fire that burned the Cornerstone Baptist Church building down on June 2011. Lightning sparked a fire that totally burned down the structure. But the Church was still fine – only in need of a new Church building. Services have continued in a rented facility as we remembered this quote from Paul Mims,
“We know that our Lord will bring good out of this and make the church better and stronger than before. This calls for us to be faithful and faith full. Blessings!”
Cornerstone Baptist Church plans to hold its first worship in the newly built Church on Easter Morning and welcomes all to join them at this most wonderful time of year! The Church is located at 1044 Cherry Log Street, Cherry Log, GA 30522. Check out the website for additional info:http://www.csbccl.org/. Dedication Day is planned for May 6th with an Open House from 2pm – 4pm for other churches who would like to see the new building. A very special thanks is extended from Cornerstone Baptist to all those who reached out during this time.
