ON THE NIGHT OF FEBRUARY 4, 2012 THE BODY OF DAVID GARDNER WAS FOUND BY DEPUTIES OF THE POLK COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE IN HIS RESIDENCE LOCATED AT 416 HWY 123, FARNER TN.GARDNER WAS LYING FACE DOWN IN A POOL OF BLOOD. DURING THE COURSE OF THE INVESTIGATION IT WAS LEARNED THAT GARDNER HAD BEEN STAYING AT CHAD WARNER’S HOME DAYS PRIOR TO THE INVESTIGATION. WARNER TOOK GARDNER BACK TO HIS HOME AND DURING AN ALTERCATION AT THE RESIDENCE WARNER STRUCK GARDNER AND INJURED HIM SEVERELY. WARNER WAS QUESTIONED AND GAVE A CONFESSION TO THIS CRIMINAL ACT.
