Jo Ann Wright Ballew, age 72, of Copperhill, TN passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Mrs. Ballew was a native of Polk County and was a daughter of the late James Louis and Ella Smith Wright. She had worked as a Business Manager in Respiratory Health.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Ballew of the home; daughters, Yvonne Ballew Coleman of Statesville, NC, Michelle Ballew Gregory of Walhalla, SC; sister, Beatrice Wright Tallent of Copperhill, TN; Three grandchildren, Joshua Keith Loudermilk, Brittany Hope Baine (Travis) Smith and Heaven Nicole Thompson.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. David Anderson officiating. Music will be by Vicki Whittenbarger. Pallbearers include Newell O’Neal, Dale Ray, Anthony Edward, Robert Taylor, Glenn Cheatham, Mark Switezer. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn cemetery.
