Bernice McAvoy : Obituary

Ms. Bernice Stiles McAvoy, age 80 of Blue Ridge, passed away January 22, 2012 in Marietta, GA. Ms. McAvoy was born November 5, 1931 in Harlan, KY to Delbert Owens and Martha Caudill Owens. Ms. McAvoy was of the Baptist faith and was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star of the Marietta order. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, James Stiles & Raymond McAvoy.

She is lovingly survived by: son, Charles (Melodie) Stiles, daughter, Darlene (Gary) McCollum, son, Delbert Stiles, son, Spencer (Shari) Stiles, brother, Bill Owens, sister, Wanda Christian, granddaughter, Linda Howard, granddaughter, Mary Schaaf, grandson, Phillip McCollum, grandson, Dale Stiles, grandson, Bryan Stiles, granddaughter, Kristin Stiles, great-granddaughter, Laine Howard, great-granddaughter, Elese Howard, great-granddaughter, Marissa Schaaf, great-grandson, Tyler Schaaf, great-grandson, Colton Stiles, great-granddaughter, Sabree Stiles, great-granddaughter, Makayla Stiles, great-granddaughter, Skylar Stiles, great-grandson, Chase Stiles.

Funeral services will be held at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel of Blue Ridge, GA. on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Interment followed in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Chris Howard, Anthony Schaaf, Phillip McCollum, Matt McGraw, Bryan Stiles, and Dale Stiles.
