Charles F. Starnes, age 79 of McCaysville, formerly of Murphy, NC, passed away January 8, 2012 at 522 Old Ridge Rd.Mr. Starnes was born June 26, 1932 in Atlanta, GA to the late Paul Starnes and the late Daisy Sweat Starnes. Charles was a member of Ranger Baptist church; and he was preceded in death by parents, and one son, Henry I. Zeeuw.
Survivors include: wife, Phyllis J. Starnes, daughter & husband, Susan & Charley Bensko, daughter & husband, Mary Jane & Philip Schwabenbauer, daughter & husband, Deborah & John Leisman, son & wife, Dale & Debra Zeeuw, son & wife, Wade & Susan Grabowski, and son, Mark Starnes.
Memorial services: Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Ranger Baptist church with Rev. L.B. Adams officiating.
