James William Ledford, age 74 of the Paintertown Community, passed away December 30, 2011 at Copper Basin Medical Center following a period of declining health, he was loved by all who new him. He was born September 16, 1937 in Fannin, GA to the late Benjamin Ledford and the late Bessie Stanley Ledford. He was a US Army veteran serving in Korea.He was of the Baptist Faith, loved family time, spending time with his grandson, motor cycles, fishing, hunting and watching westerns.
He was preceded in death by father and mother in law, Earl and Marie Caylor, three brothers and five sisters
Survivors include: wife, Barbara Caylor Ledford, daughter, Maria Suzanne Ledford, grandson, Jamison Caylor, sister, Deloris Green, sister-in-law, Frances Caylor Harris, nieces nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral services: Monday, January 2, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Hyatt and Rev. Kenneth Mann officiating. Music provided by: A. C. Caylor Family. Interment will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by North Georgia Honor Guard.. Pallbearers: Kevin Harris, Marcus Abercrombie, A.C. Caylor, Buster Fowler, Robby Bell and Jeff Ware.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Sunday, January 01, 2012 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
