Ellon Lois McClelland : Obituary

Mrs. Ellon Lois McClelland, age 78, of McDonough, GA passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in the Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, GA.Mrs. McClelland was born on March 30, 1933 in Cherry Log, GA to the late Martin VanBuren Key and Denia Fain Key. She worked for J.C. Penney as a timekeeper and a clerk and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi and Bruce Carr of McDonough, GA; grandchildren, Rachel Carr and Rebekah Nix and her husband Lee Nix, all of McDonough; brothers, Hertis Key of Cherry Log, Kert Key and his wife Dot Key of Georgia and Chick Key of Georgia; sisters, Virginia Underwood of Blue Ridge, Bernetta Trammell of Ellijay, and Diane Pinson and her husband Johnny Pinson of Ellijay.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Chastain Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 until 1:45 when the procession will leave the funeral home for the cemetery for the graveside service.
