Goldie Marie Taylor, 78, formerly of Murphy, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2011. She was the wife of the late Doyle Furman Taylor. Goldie is survived by 5 children: Woody and wife Willine Diamond (IN), Debbie Wells (OH), Jackie and husband John Hill (OH), Kim and husband Jim Brock (OH), Dwayne and wife Christy Taylor (Murphy).
A devoted Christian and homemaker, Goldie also leaves behind 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, a great grandson, and numerous ‘adopted’ children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Tredway-Pollitt-Staver Funeral Home in Norwood, OH. There will be a grave-side service at 1:30 on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Ogreeta Cemetery in Murphy, NC.
