Update: Lady Rebels Ride Again: Lady Rebels in Rubber Match With Wolverines

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels softball team, took the long trek to Dade County to take on the Lady Wolverines, in the first round of state softball playoffs. The Lady Rebels took game one (5-3) by scoring three runs in the top of the eighth inning. The Lady Wolverines’ metal was tested and Dade County responded to the Fannin’s furor with a 6-4 victory in game two that saw the Lady Wolverines claw out two runs in the top of the seventh, Fannin was the “home team” in game two, and tie the series at 1-1. The Lady Rebels will travel back to Dade County for the deciding game three Friday at 4:00pm.
