Aleta Kay Forsberg, age 59 of Ducktown, passed away July 23, 2011 at the Fannin Regional Hospital.ALeta was born to the late James & Myrtle Rowe Stockwell in Cowan, West Virigina on April 4, 1952. Aleta had moved to the area from St. Petersburg, FL.
Aleta is survived by her husband, Lawrence Barnes of the Life Care Center of Copper Basin, one daughter, Jeanette West, and sister, Gayle Stockwell.
A memorial service is planned for August 20, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin at 3:00 p.m. with speaker, Darren Hulgen, administrator of Life Care, and Minister Rebecca Reed officiating.
