The Fannin County Board of Commissioners (BOC) is expected to vote on a millage rate increase at tonight’s meeting, which takes place on the third floor of the Fannin County Courthouse, starting at 6 p.m. Just before commissioners meet, the county Board of Education will hold its regular meeting to vote on a property tax increase proposal, as well. The BOE will then hand deliver a letter to county commissioners at their meeting Tuesday night to put their tax request before commissioners at the same time commissioners will be voting on a millage increase for the county budget.
