Mrs. Mildred L. Wilcox, age 86 of Mineral Bluff, passed away July 2, 2011 at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Wilcox was born March 6, 1925 in Polk, TN to the late Carl Bell and Bertha King Bell. She had been married for 64 years. She and her husband owned and operated the Lakewood Motel for fifteen years and later, the Village Ice Cream Parlor. She was preceded in death by brother, Don Bell and sister, Mary Phillips.
Survivors include: husband, Edward Wilcox; son & daughter in law, Ricky & Debra Wilcox; daughter & son in law, Linda & Tommy Cole; Brother, Paul Bell and niece, Brenda Simmons.
Funeral services: Monday, July 4, 2011 at 7:30 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Music will be by Janice Reid. Interment will follow 11:00 AM Tuesday in Macedonia Baptist church Cemetery at Wolf Creek.
