The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mrs. Wilma Faye Sisson, age 79, of Blue Ridge, GA who passed away Thursday, June 09, 2011 in the Heritage Health Care Center in Blue Ridge, GA.Mrs. Sisson was born in Fannin County, GA on December 14, 1931 to the late Fonzie Clayton Smith and Lula Ray Smith. She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband William J. Sisson; daughter, Sheila Myers; and granddaughter, Tiffany Marie Sisson.

She is survived by sons, Billy Sisson of Blue Ridge, Max Sisson of Dalton, GA; Steve Sisson, Alan Sisson, and Chris Sisson, all of Blue Ridge, and Ricky Myers of Texas; daughter, Becky Myers of California; brother, Fonzie Smith of Salem, OR; 13 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery with Min. Dennis Morris officiating. Pallbearers will be Travis Sisson, Joey Sisson, Larry Sisson, Eric Sisson, Steve Boling, and Wesley Cook.
