Thomas Lynn Hughes Sr. age 72, of Wolf Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday morning, May 28, 2011 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.He was born on May 13, 1939 in Ducktown, Tennessee to the late, Thomas Aden Hughes and Nola Bell Hughes. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 24.
He is survived by one son, Thomas L. Hughes Jr. and his wife Mary Ann of Williamsburg, Kentucky; one step-son, Jerry Anderson and his wife Katherine Joan of Parkers Lake, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jerry “Dunor” Anderson and his wife Jessica, Crystal Privett and her husband Darron, Kristy Frazier and Heather Anderson; two sisters, Joyce Thomas and Loretta Jones of Barberton, Ohio; two brothers, Max Hughes and his wife Martha of Canton, Georgia and Ray Hughes; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Matney officiating. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Zion Hill Cemetery and the family will receive friends at the church for thirty minutes prior to the graveside service.
