Mr. Leonard Lee Turner, age 85 of McCaysville, passed away April 20, 2011 at Heritage Health Care of Blue Ridge. Leonard was born February 2, 1926 in Fannin County, GA to the late Bunion Turner and the late Clara Plemmons Turner. Leonard served as a policeman in Fannin County for many years, and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Survivors include: wife, Ruth Mae Turner of McCaysville, GA, daughter & son-in-law, Sandy & Dan Lohr of Mineral Bluff, GA.

Funeral services: Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.
