In less than three full innings of work the Fannin High School Rebels ran wild on the Wildcats of Rabun County. The Rebels won 15-0. The game was called in the bottom of the third due to mercy rule, after catcher, Jordan Farmer’s, single scored outfielder, Korey Satterfield, for the 15th run of the game.Rebels’ pitcher, Tyler McClure, struck out six of the 10 batters he faced. The Rebels’ ridiculous route began with McClure’s base clearing double, which gave Fannin a 2-0 lead. The Rebels scored two more runs in the inning.

The second inning saw an offensive explosion by the Rebels which increased the lead to 9-0. Farmer hit a two run home run after Jason Burnette walked to start the inning, and the Rebels kept pounding away.

After the Wildcats quite calmly went down in three straight a bats, Farmer started the bottom of the third off with another home run. After two Rebels’ singles, Daniel Roper hit a three run home run to make the score 13-0.

After the game coach David Dyer addressed the Rebels’ undefeated streak.

“We don’t talk about it,” he said. “We have a process. Win or lose we are going to do what we are coached to do.”
