Joan Sosebee : Obituary

Mrs. JoAn Parker Sosebee, age 70, of Young Harris passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 at Chatuge Regional Hospital in Hiawassee.

She was born in Young Harris, GA October 27, 1940 to Plato and Emma Parker. She was a member of Woods Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Sosebee is survived by her husband of 51 years, Allan Sosebee. Also surviving are: two sons, Eddie Sosebee and wife Tina, Pat Sosebee and wife Anita, four grandchildren, Craig Sosebee and wife Mandy, Brandy White and husband Zack, Tiffany Sosebee and Robbie Sosebee, two great grandchildren, Daylen and Bryce Sosebee and mother, Emma Parker, all of Young Harris, GA, brothers, Dean Parker and wife Rhonda of Eastover, SC, Jerry Parker and wife Shelia of Gainesville, GA and Richard Parker and wife Doris of Grifton, NC; 2 sisters,Judy Patterson and husband Edward of Hayesvill e, NC and Kathy Hill and husband Jim of Newnan, GA.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee with Pastor Jim Payne officiating. Music will be provided by the Family Circle Singers. Interment will follow in the Woods Grove Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 until 10 p.m. The following gentlemen have been requested to serve as pallbearers: Robbie Sosebee, Craig Sosebee, Zach White, Jeremy Parker, Tim Barrett and Terry Parker. Honorary pallbearers are as follows: John Ray Parker, Harold Max Parker, Randy Parker, Roger Campbell and Larry Campbell. Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee (www.cochranfuneralhomes.com) in charge of arrangements.
