James “Larry” Seabolt

The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of James “Larry” Seabolt, age 61, of Blue Ridge, GA who passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Fannin Regional Hospital.He was born on April 2, 1949 in Fannin County, GA. Larry was a member of Wilscott Baptist Church. He was self employed in upholstering furniture. Larry was preceded in death by father, James Earl Seabolt; mother-in-law, Cathy Davis; father-in-law, Delmar Tipton.

Survivors include wife, Kathy Seabolt of Blue Ridge, GA; son, Larry Lynn Seabolt of Blue Ridge, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Candy Marie and Ray Dale of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchildren, Joseph Seabolt, Levi Seabolt, Hannah Ray and Heidi Ray; mother, Era C. Seabolt of Morganton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Alice Seabolt of Epworth, GA, Steve and Carolyn Seabolt of Epworth, GA and Randy and Robin Seabolt of Ellijay, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dale and Keith Culberson of Morganton, GA, Gay and Benny Cross of Morganton, GA and Tammy and Raymond King of Blairsville, GA; mother-in-law, Mrs. Thelma Tipton; father-in-law, Walter Davis; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Willie and Sabine Tipton, Jacob and Melinda Davis, Roger and Vicky Tipton, Glenn and Jenny Lambert and Sandy and Nicky Nicholson; a large number of nieces, nephews and friends also survived.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Kenny Housley officiating. Music will be by Jessie and Lena Hill. Pallbearers will be Kevin Jones, Brandon Tipton, Terry Tipton, Dusty Stanley, Michael Lovingood, Shawn Seabolt, Wesley Seabolt, Cord King, Clayton Seabolt and Raymond Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Seabolt, Steve Seabolt, Randy Seabolt, Keith Culberson, Benny Cross, Raymond King, Willie Tipton, Nicky Nicholson, Jacob Davis, Glenn Lambert and Roger Tipton. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
