Fannin County Schools Decided to Close Again Monday

Fannin County Schools will be closed for students Monday, Jan. 17 but open for staff as a professional learning day.
Extensive checks of county roads and bus routes indicated that some areas of Fannin County are still experiencing difficult driving conditions due to the snow and ice from last week’s snowfall. Fannin officials reported checking with the transportation department and that many of the bus routes are still not safe enough to transport students. With safety being the number one priority, the decision was made to close Fannin County Schools Monday, January 17th for students.

Monday will be a professional learning day for the employees of the Fannin County School System
