The revenge minded Rebels refused to repeat last year’s 42-21 Leopards lambasting; however a 43 yard Leopards’ touchdown run with 2:07 left in the game gave Banks a 47-46 come from behind victory on Fannin’s homecoming night. The Murphy (NC) Bulldogs, the defending North Carolina A state champs, ran roughshod over the home team Fannin County High School Rebels. The Bulldogs beat the Rebels 42-13, behind a vicious ground attack that wracked up 381. Conversely, the Rebels rushed for 164 yards on the ground. [Read more »]
