The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels volleyball team hosted the Copper Basin Lady Cougars for the second annual senior night celebration. Fannin swept the “Basin” with win two wins of 25-13 and 25-17. The seniors honored in a pregame ceremony, with their parents were: Abigail Anderson; Chandler Byrd; Morgan Chastain; Bethany Deal; Devanie Lynette Flanagan; Brittany O’Neal; and Logan O’Neal. The Fannin High School Lady Rebels softball team hosted the Lady Spartans of West Hall for the annual “Pink Out” cancer awareness game. The Lady Rebels shut out the Lady Spartans 8-0 after a brief ceremony to honor those who have been touched by cancer. Barbara King, a teacher at Blue Ridge Elementary School and cancer survivor, threw out the first pitch. [Read more »]
