The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels volleyball team traveled to Pickens County to take on the Pickens High School Dragonettes. Despite winning the first set, 25-21, the Lady Rebels fell in three sets, losing the last two 26-24 (in overtime) and 25-19.

Ford Sponsored an event that donated money to Fannin County High School, Saturday August 4, 2012. Ford donated $20.00 for every new vehicle drive and $30.00 for every 2012 Ford Escape driven. The Fannin County High School Rebels baseball team has been taking part in summer baseball games. The Rebels most recent trip was to Lumpkin County, where Fannin faced the host school, Indians and North Forsyth. Fannin beat Lumpkin County 4-1; however, North Forsyth won 12-3.

The Fannin Rebels varsity basketball team will be hosting several teams for summer scrimmages on Monday June 11th. The scrimmages games will begin at 10am and continue until 5pm.

The Fannin County High School class of 2012 graduated on Friday, May 25th. The class of 184 students completed it’s matriculation in front of friends, family, and the Fannin County community in the football stadium.
