FCHS Chorus Performed at the Opening of the General Assembly

Speaker of the House David Ralston invited the FCHS Chorus to perform a couple of patriotic pieces at the opening of the General Assembly on Monday, Jan. 14. Article courtesy Theresa (TC) Dillard

We sang the “Star-Spangled Banner” and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” per Mr. Ralston’s request. Front row: (l to r) Nicole Reed, Kaelyn Deal, Caitlyn Rhodes, Breanna Sloan, and Morgan Sourbrine. We had lunch at the Varsity courtesy of the FCHS Academic Boosters!
