Fannin High Key Club Donated to the Food Pantry

Fannin County High School’s Key Club recently collected food for the food pantry. The club members took the food to Family Connections and worked with Mr. Davenport to count, log, and shelve the canned goods that were collected. The donation totaled $239. Key Club members plan to continue collecting canned goods throughout the school year.

FLAG Launches Lunch for Literacy Campaign

Blue Ridge restaurants are donating a portion of lunch proceeds to Fannin Literacy Action Group (FLAG) during a “Lunch for Literacy” campaign during the month of February. Plan to support adult literacy while enjoying lunch at the following restaurants on the following dates:

February 1 – Angelina’s Italian Gourmet Market & Deli

February 8 – Blue Ridge Mountain Bar-B-Q

February 10 – Christy Lee’s Courtyard Grille
