On Saturday Feb 28th, The Sweet Shoppe of the South, located in Blue Ridge held a FROZEN party. There were little princesses dressed as their favorite regal princess to meet Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. Public Health Departments in Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens and Whitfield Counties are closed Friday, February 27, 2015, due to icy road conditions, and the North Georgia Health District office in Dalton will delay opening to noon.

North Georgia - Have you had your flu shot yet? Flu activity is high in Georgia and the peak of the flu season is still ahead. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to recommend that unvaccinated people get vaccinated*.
