Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) was in Canton, Georgia this past Saturday campaigning for David Perdue. Senator Cruz is well known on a national level and is a Tea Party favorite.

FYN has learned this afternoon via Dawson County Sheriff Billy Carlisle that Deputy Henry Wooten, the arresting officer of Video Journalist Nydia Tisdale, has been suspended until an internal investigation is completed. Carlisle also told FYN that Wooten was not on duty at the time he made the arrest. FYN will continue to follow and update with any information that becomes available. Speaker Ralston faces the possibility of being disbarred. Ralston is facing 10 counts of violating Georgia State Bar Rules. These rules are considered the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct. The alleged misconduct stems from the personal injury case of Paul E. Chernak. Ralston’s law office represented Chernak. Chernak was injured in an automobile accident in March 2006. [Read more »]
