“For Thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.” Psalm 25:11

O God of grace and mercy, we confess our sins to you. Forgive us for our vanity which prevents us from being honest with ourselves, for the uncharitable words which we speak in haste, for entertaining evil thoughts in our minds and for a wrong spirit which we have had toward others.

We ask these things through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.
