Fannin County High School Rebels tennis player, Austin Kuhr, was recently awarded the 2015 FCHS Boys’ Tennis Coaches Award. Kuhr finished the 2015 season, his senior season, with an 8-1 record, with the lone loss coming at the hands of an undefeated player. Kuhr is the only player in FCHS history to be the number one singles player all four years of his varsity career. He finished his career with a 30-14 record with a winning record every year and two (2014-2015) Faculty Mixed Doubles Tournament Championships. Kuhr, and head coach, Robert Evans, spoke briefly about his career with the Rebels.
