Robert Earl Young, age 60, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at his home. Mr. Young was born October 13, 1954 in Blue Ridge to Johnny Robert and Bernice Stanley Young. He owned and operated Young’s Produce. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Robert Young.

He is survived by his son, Robert Christopher Young of Blue Ridge; mother, Bernice Stanley Young of Blue Ridge; grandson, Robert William “Austin” Young of Chatsworth; brother, Randy Young of Blue Ridge; nieces and nephews, Lorrena Young of Blue Ridge, Rachel Young of McCaysville, Reagan Young of McCaysville, and Neil Young of Blue Ridge; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Lonnie Jones officiating. Interment followed in the Stanley Creek Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers were Johnny Cochran, Gary Cochran, Greg Cochran, Bruce Pack, David Chapman, and Eric Hedden.
