The Villainy of Higher Education

Opinion

Opinion by George McClellan:Gov. Scott Walker was criticized by the Democrats Party’s second most ridiculous dufus spokesperson, Gov. Howard Dean, for being unqualified for the Presidency because he lacked a higher education. By Dean’s definition, a higher education means having graduated from a progressive-Liberal Ivy League university where socialist dogma is paramount and must be learned by any pretenders to high office. It doesn’t always work of course, but that’s the plan.

The weakness of that plan reveals itself when we listen to the governments spokespersons speak. Do you understand why these people in federal government, from Obama to Marie Harf, Jan Psaki to Josh Earnest and even Jay Carney, not to mention Pelosi, Reid and Schumer, appear to us to be so monumentally out of touch when they make public utterance like those we have heard these past few days, well, even the past six years actually?

It’s their education, or lack of one actually, that makes them appear to us to be the over-educated rednecks they are. Most all of these people have matriculated through America’s colleges and universities, that we somehow have allowed to become tax payer funded institutions of Progressive thought (think Marxist), just to end up in government jobs where they can do good and socialize the rest of us!

Marie Harf, and the others, were clearly not educated to be critical thinkers or problem solvers. Their education lacked any view of our Western traditions, except from the Marxist point of view, that America was and still is bad, and the world must be saved from it. They were schooled in the catechism of Marx. They achieved their degrees in Liberal Arts, Political Science or Communication Journalism (for progressives, think propaganda) and in consequence have become socialist ideologues or, as we ignorant suffers in fly-over country have learned, dangerous purveyors of political correctness.

When these people open their mouths, like Maria Harf did, and Obama, and attempt to pontificate their socialist dogma like her silly Jobs for Jihadists nonsense, then we instinctively know, those of us without degrees from Ivy League schools like Gov. Scott Walker, that its time to seriously start looking past the problems in front of us and delve deeply into the solutions to solve those problems, i.e.: rapidly and drastically reforming education at all levels.

The first question that must be asked is: Why is ideology, on any subject, even permitted to be taught in our colleges and universities? Ideology is for the churches to teach so our students at least have a developed moral code upon which to base their thinking. The clue word here is “education” not training. Auto mechanics, as an example, are trained. That’s where training should stay. Soldiers are trained, not educated. Officers are trained to be soldiers until their education in critical thinking is provided in the military’s higher curriculum programs.

When 1960’s radicals were allowed to become college professors, even a president and a Secretary of State, then the course of America’s future students was changed. It will be painful to unset it but unset it we must. Our universities, since the 60’s have become no more than training centers for Progressive thought. Another truth that has been revealed is so obvious that we miss it. As the Progressive-Liberals, like Harf and Obama, try to convince us of their legitimacy, that have to lie about it and when they lie they can’t disguise the truth. They are liars and they don’t even know it. Oh yes, the first most ridiculous dufus spokesperson for the Democrat party is Debbie Wassermann Schultz. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now let’s go get ‘em and fix this education problem. (21 Feb 2015)
