Fannin County Fire Dept. was dispatched to the area of Brookhaven Ln. for the report of a (fully involved) house fire, also called on East Polk for water shuttle, arrived on scene to find that the residence was fully involved and collapsing with a propane tank nearby with flames impinging on the tank from what appeared to be a broke gas line. Engine 4 deployed two attack lines, and three of the first arriving fire fighters cooled the propane tank while one shut the gas off. Engine 5, Tanker 6, Tanker 14, and East Polk Tanker 1 setup for water shuttle. Due to the location and narrow roadway Fannin County Sheriffs Dept. was called on to help with the flow of traffic and allow fire department personal only. Local and State Investigators are investigating the cause of the fire.
