Mr. Ronald V. Kendall, age 53 of Morganton, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at his home.Mr. Kendall was born May 3, 1961 in Copper Hill, TN, to the late George Reed Kendall and Mae Howe Kendall. He was Baptist in faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by sister, Cindy Potts.

Ronald served 12 years in the Air Force during the Desert Storm era acquiring the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was currently the District Manager at AmeriGas / Heritage Propane having worked there for twenty plus years. He had a love for animals and nature. He grew flowers and vegetables and he enjoyed landscaping his property. Many who knew him said that he was friendly and very personable.

Survivors include loving wife, Karen Bush Kendall, mother, Mae Kendall, five children, Stacey Kendall Postell, Michael Kendall, Brittany Kendall, Corbin Kendall and Deagan Kendall, nine brothers and sisters, Patty and (Bob) Heavener, Cathy and (Clyde) Cruse, Don and (Marilyn) Kendall, Jackie and (Barry) Key, Jane and (Leonard) Self, Cheryl and (Larry) Bradburn, Sandi and (Charlie) Williams, Mike Kendall, and Julie and (Dan) Wilkins, four grandchildren, Kendall, Anna, Caleb and Matthew Postell. Also many nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Phillip Weeks and Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. Music was provided by Donnie Kendall, Amanda Galloway and Jim Callihan. Interment followed in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers included Kelly Cruse, Donnie Kendall, Scott Key, Patrick Key, Jamie Self, Josh Self, D.J. Kendall, and Devon Kendall. Honorary Pallbearers are Steven Bradburn, Brian Bradburn, Danny Wilkins, and Travis Bush. Military honors were be presented by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
