Fve Fannin County Cloverleaf (5th and 6th grade) 4-H members joined over 230 other 4-H members at the Union County Middle School in Blairsville to participate in Cloverleaf Project Achievement on Saturday, November 16th.
4-H’ers participating in Project Achievement researched a topic and prepared a demonstration or “illustrated talk” with posters and props. This also included fine arts performances and step-by-step food product preparation.
Objectives of project achievement are: acquire an understanding of subject matter in a project area; develop skills in researching, assembling and presenting information; develop integrity, sportsmanship, cooperation, poise and self-confidence; develop skills in leadership and communication; and stimulate interest in continuing involvement in 4-H.
Anthony Venable and Eli Young served as teen leaders. Amy Young served as a teen leader and project judge.
